This is Jabulani. He was ripped away from his family as a baby because his parents got killed by poachers in the wild. He was later rehabilitated to one of the most beautiful and open sanctuary’s I have ever seen.. where he then was raised/protected by the people of Kruger National Park. When cases like this happen, it’s very rare to be able to see them released back into the wild because once they are taken from their parents at such a young age.. humans have to teach them how to basically be an elephant. When this happens that makes their survival rate very low if they were to go back, so through the guidance of the park they’re safe and roam free here. Thankful sanctuary’s and people like the ones who raised Jabulani are dedicated to these majestic animals lives 🤍🐘 @france.and.jesse Sat Apr-2021-17 9:31 AM
